Hey! My name is Yaxi Xiao. I’m an NYC-based Graphic Designer and Motion Designer. I’ve had the honor to contribute to clients including Apple, AT&T, Adobe, El Pollo Loco, Nike, Starburst, Blue Forge Alliances, IBM, Arras Foundation, the Theatr App, Think!Chinatown among others. My works have been recognized by the Type Directors Club, Graphis, Effie, The One Show, the Shorty Awards, the Drum Awards, and the Internet Advertising Awards.

At work, I’m described as a “Jack-of-all-trades” in design and a technically savvy “Swiss knife” who solves complex problems. My expertise includes graphic design, motion graphics, video editing, interactive experience, brand identity, digital marketing, and more. I strive to create purpose-driven content with an authentic voice.

I was born and raised in a vibrant city, Shenzhen, China. I’ve never had less than a dozen of subject matters to devote my interest and dive deep in, but found a liberating sense of life-preserving energy in arts and design. Once I landed in New York City in 2016, I instantly fell for the chaotic beauty, and miraculously survived until now.
